Actualmente, las organizaciones tienden a enfocarse hacia la satisfacción de sus clientes, por tanto se vuelve relevante la selección de personal competente para los puestos de servicio al cliente. El presente proyecto tuvo como objetivo el desarrollo de una herramienta de medición conductual para la valoración de competencias asociadas al servicio al cliente. Para la consecución del objetivo fueron entrevistados 51 sujetos, clasificados en 3 grupos: 25 Ejecutivos de Servicio al Cliente, 17 Usuarios de Servicio al Cliente y 9 Reclutadores de Personal para Servicio al Cliente, quienes fueron consultados sobre las características que deben poseer los ejecutivos de Servicio al Cliente. Posteriormente se procedió a la construcción de 4 constructos competenciales, los cuales fueron validados y posteriormente utilizados para el desarrollo de una herramienta de medición conductual la cuál fue piloteada en un total de 39 Ejecutivos de Servicio al Cliente. Los datos evidenciaron normalidad homogeneidad y confiabilidad aceptables. Para el estudio y comprensión del deseo sexual es necesario considerar aspectos fisiológicos, psicológicos y socioculturales. Los hombres expresan y confirman su masculinidad a través de su deseo sexual, este último les preocupa cuando deciden realizarse la vasectomía. Objetivo: Comparar las experiencias y significados del deseo sexual en hombres con y sin vasectomía. Método: Investigación de tipo mixta: cuantitativa y cualitativa. Participaron voluntariamente 15 hombres sin vasectomía (grupo A) y 15 hombres con vasectomía (grupo B). Se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas y firma de consentimiento informado. Resultados: Comparativamente, más hombres del grupo B, usaban condón y coito interrumpido como métodos anticonceptivos. En ambos grupos, el promedio de edad en el inicio de la vida sexual fue de 17,6 años y el deseo sexual fue descrito como: impulsos, sensaciones, ganas, pensamientos, fantasías y emociones dirigidas a tener relaciones sexuales (vaginal, anal u oral) con eyaculación y orgasmo. En el grupo B, el deseo sexual disminuyó levemente por dolor y molestias postquirúrgicas. Después de la operación, en la mayoría se observó un incremento en el deseo y frecuencia de las relaciones sexuales como consecuencia de la seguridad de no embarazar. Conclusiones: En ambos grupos el deseo sexual depende de diversos factores para convertirse en un acto consumado.
