Estudios previos que han analizado la relación entre estilos de manejo de conflictos y razonamiento moral han mostrado resultados divergentes. Además, tales estudios se han efectuado con muestras de jóvenes y adultos. Con el fin de contribuir a la discusión en este campo, el presente estudio se planteó evaluar la relación entre razonamiento moral y estilos de manejo de conflictos en una muestra (N = 191) de adolescentes bachilleres, con edades entre 15 y 19 años. Los participantes respondieron el Cuestionario sobre Estilos de Mensajes en el Manejo de Conflictos (Ross-DeWine Conflict Management Message Style Instrument, CMMS) y el Test de Definición de Criterios (Defining Issues Test, DIT). En los resultados, no se encontró una relación ni un efecto significativo del razonamiento moral sobre los estilos de manejo de conflictos. Se discute éste y otros resultados, en el marco de la literatura sobre gestión de conflictos y desarrollo moral en la adolescencia. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue describir el nivel de conocimientos y actitudes que poseen los jóvenes universitarios sobre el contagio de infecciones de transmisión sexual y las prácticas sexuales de riesgo. En el estudio participaron 990 estudiantes de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, de los siguientes planteles: Facultad de Estudios Superiores Acatlán, Facultad de Estudios Superiores Aragón, Facultad de Estudios Superiores Cuautitlán, Facultad de Estudios Superiores Iztacala, Facultad de Contaduría y Escuela Nacional de Enfermería y Obstetricia. Se aplicó una encuesta anónima, en la cual se evaluaron, actitudes hacia la sexualidad conocimientos generales acerca de infecciones de transmisión sexual y sobre prácticas sexuales riesgosas. Los datos obtenidos permitieron identificar que a pesar de los conocimientos e información con que cuentan los jóvenes universitarios aún siguen teniendo algunas prácticas sexuales de riesgo. El Bienestar Subjetivo como constructo de investigación de la Psicología Positiva, es definido por Diener (1994) en función de dos componentes: uno cognitivo (medido a través de la satisfacción con la vida) y otro afectivo (que contempla emociones tanto positivas como negativas). Bajo este enfoque, se realizó un estudio transversal de tipo comparativo con 620 participantes (310 hombres y 310 mujeres) entre 10 y 89 años de edad de una zona rural del sur del Estado de México. El objetivo fue comparar el Bienestar Subjetivo en diferentes edades, por sexo y nivel socioeconómico. Se aplicó la Escala de Satisfacción con la Vida de Diener (SWLS, 1994), el Cuestionario de Bienestar Subjetivo de Victoria (2004) y para obtener el nivel socioeconómico se utilizó el Índice de nivel socioeconómico de la Asociación Mexicana de Agencias de Investigación de Mercados y Opinión Pública (Regla AMAI 10*6, 2008). Se encontraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas por sexo y edad en las áreas de satisfacción personal, pareja/amigos, laboral/escolar, afectos positivos habituales, afectos positivos recientes, afectos negativos habituales afectos negativos recientes. Por nivel socioeconómico se encontraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas de acuerdo a la edad en la satisfacción con la vida, área de satisfacción general, familiar, personal, material, afectos positivos habituales y afectos positivos recientes, en cuyo caso fue el grupo 1(de 10 a 15 años) más distinto a los demás. Se sugiere indagar sobre otros aspectos psicológicos como la personalidad, autoestima, depresión y su relación con el Bienestar Subjetivo en muestras rurales. En este ensayo se discute acerca de las prácticas utópicas en la experiencia urbana europea. Se hace una breve genealogía de la problemática, analizando los casos de Mayo del 68, la Internacional Situacionista y los Provos de Holanda. Se muestra así un ejercicio crítico que, a través de estas experiencias, pone en juego el trabajo de la imaginación utópica como acción metropolitana. El ensayo argumenta la importancia de las políticas estéticas en todo este desarrollo político.
